Newbie [Jan. 3rd, 2009|05:56 pm]
Hey all :)

I'm a new Spamalot fan. I just got back from the show, then I googled it and I found this lovely community.

I have a question (and I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post this but I'll give it a go): is there any way someone could send me a video of the show with the original cast? I love Christian Borle (saw him in Millie), and I love Not Dead Fred... so if I get to see Christian as Not Dead Fred I might die of happiness.

Sank you :)

Example #1 of this post in another comm I'm in made me think of pre-Herbert Lance goes to Sears. Providing we forgive him his poor choice of terms, of course.

Spamalot in London [Oct. 26th, 2006|04:32 pm]
[music |Some crap]

Following my successful trip to Broadway's Spamalot, I thought I'd see the London version to see how it compared.

WONDERFULLY! The cast was superb, and I got to see Tim Curry, who I missed first time round. I did get to meet him and the cast (including Chris Sieber, who I didn't see before).

Here's a sample of the pics I took!

Tim CurryCollapse )

This is just a teaser - a ton of photos and a full review over here at my LJ. Enjoy!

Behind the Scenes: Spamalot's Lauren Kennedy on Becoming a Diva [Sep. 18th, 2006|07:26 pm]

Here's a video of Lauren Kennedy in her dressing room being 'transformed' into the Lady of the Lake.

x _HELP_ x

I've got such a dilemma. Drama night is on Wednesday. One of the music teachers at my school (Mr. C) promised Joy (my bestfriend) and I that he would be playing the piano for us for "The Song That Goes Like This" - (Thankfully, ohliamylia supplied me with the piano tabs and I cannot thankyou enough, hun!) Anyway, because of my bad luck- I asked a girl (in Year 11 whom is also in Drama Class) if she'd play too (being my backup in case Mr. C couldn't make it..) Well, she said yes..

Friday - Drama Class- comes round. BOTH of them say they can't do it. No reasons.

Now I am officially screwed.. Unless someone - PLEASE GOD- someone out there has a copy of the song as a karaoke version..

OR/ someone can play it on piano, record it, and send it to me so that I could burn it onto a CD.

OR/ I could send the actual song to someone and they could "skillfully" remove the vocals??

Please guys, if anyone knows anyone who can do this PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE.. I beg.. Please help me.

Much love xx.
